In the automotive world, today's niche can be tomorrow's next big hit. Take the SUV, for example. It started out as a workhorse for those who need to haul things where there are no roads. The popularity of off-roading made automakers realize that they can cater to a small but significant market. These days, SUVs, along with crossovers, are just about everywhere.
Now, there's a new automaker that wants to make a new niche. That manufacturer is Aznom, and they want to make luxury 4x4 sedans the next big thing. Also, if you've noticed, Aznom is Monza spelled backward. So what does Aznom have in mind for their off-road limousine?
For starters, it will be a massive sedan, and it will be called the Palladium. The off-road luxury sedan will measure in at nearly six meters long and over two meters tall. Also, the sedan will come with a 5.7-liter V8 assisted by two turbochargers. According to the automaker, the result is over 700 PS and more than 880 Nm of torque. It will even come with low-range drive modes to ensure rock-crawling abilities.
As for the design, the Palladium looks massive. The flat front end, coupled with the slab-sided flanks and long doors, adds to that effect. In their concept drawings, it will have high ground clearance, along with sizable alloy wheels. At the back, there's a coupe-like roofline, along with a slim panel that houses all the lights.
Aznom says the production version will be revealed before the end of the year. They add that the Palladium will be limited to just 10 units, and all of them are tailor-made to each client. Prices haven't been announced yet, but we don't think it's what we'd call affordable. Still, if you have (very) deep pockets, the Aznom Palladium should be an interesting addition to any billionaire's garage.
