The X-Dynamic variant is cut from a different line of Defenders. Specifically designed for the toughest of demands, Land Rover claims this particular version features a tougher-looking exterior as well as durable Robustec ribbon accents on the seats.

It’s available with the X-Dynamic Custom Pack which gives the already capable Defender additional capabilities and amenities. The PHP 300,000 package will give the SUV a matte black hood decal, an exterior side-mounted gear carrier, black wheel nuts, Union Jack-style valve caps, deep-sided rubber mats, a loadspace rubber mat, a bright rear scuff plate, and even a cover for the 20-inch spare wheel at the back (not fitted on this unit).

As mentioned earlier, the seats of the Defender X-Dynamic are upholstered in a different material called Robustec. Unlike your typical leather or leatherette, Robustec is tougher and more durable which fits with the Defender’s overall persona. Giving the vehicle some extra class comes courtesy of a two-tone finish that can be paired with a black and beige colorway.

Both front seats come with a 12-way electric adjustment with a memory function for easier adjustability. Sitting proudly at the center of the dashboard is a 10-inch Pivi Pro infotainment system that supports USB, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and satellite navigation. As an extra feature, the Bluetooth system can connect up to 2 devices at once.

Other available amenities and features present inside the Defender X-Dynamic include 40:20:40 split-folding rear seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a central TFT multi-info display, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a 3D Surround Camera System with ClearSight Ground View camera, Wade Sensing, and rear ventilation/USB charging ports.

Powering the X-Dynamic is not a turbo-diesel engine. Instead, it’s the 3.0-liter twin-charged inline-six with a 48V mild-hybrid electric system. Not only does it have a twin-scroll turbocharger, but it also gets an electric supercharger that gives the SUV a total system output of 400 PS at 5500 - 6500 rpm and 550 Nm of torque between 2000 - 5000 rpm. Power is then sent to the road via an 8-speed automatic transmission with permanent four-wheel drive.
