Hyundai Motor Company unveiled the ix25, a small-sized SUV concept model, at the 2014 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition.
The automaker says the ix25 concept aims to target the young generation who seeks style and practicality.
It showcases Hyundai’s ‘Fluidic Sculpture 2.0’ design philosophy. It is designed with a bold front, a bulky side and a sporty rear.
It is 4,270 mm long, 1,780 mm wide, 1,630 mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2,590 mm.
“Hyundai Motor has grown into a leading automaker in China through continuous innovation and we are now poised for a new challenge to become the most loved brand by Chinese customers. We will now prepare for another successful decade in China through the launch of high-quality models such as the ix25 SUV, which is strategically-developed for China,” said Hyundai Motor President Sung Kee Choi.
The ix25 SUV concept is equipped with a 2.0 engine, but Hyundai has not yet released the other details regarding the vehicle’s powertrain.
