Bendix high-performance DOT 3, DOT 4 brake fluids now in PH

Is your car's braking system due for a service? If you plan on replacing your brake pads or brake shoes with components from Bendix, why not pair them with the brand's latest brake fluid?

Now available in the country is the brand's high-performance DOT 3 and DOT4 brake fluids. Both brake fluids are suitable for use in cars, trucks, and buses with ABS and non-ABS disc and drum braking systems. Like most brake fluids, these can be used in a vehicle's hydraulic clutch system as well.

“The brakes are undeniably one of the most important parts of our vehicle. Perfectly working brakes help us stay out of accidents and get where we need to go safely. That being said, it’s important to take care of our brakes regularly, and one of the elements to consider is using high-quality brake fluid,” said Tonyo Calado, AVP for sales and marketing at All-Inclusive Sales Inc.

Based on Polyglycol type fluids, the Bendix DOT 3 and DOT 4 brake fluids are engineered to optimize braking performance for specific applications. They also minimize corrosion should they come into contact with other components of the vehicle.

“Bendix DOT 3 and DOT 4 Brake Fluids are safe when they come in contact with other components in the engine bay as they minimize corrosion of tinned iron, steel, aluminum, cast iron, brass, and copper components while being inert to both natural and synthetic rubber used in brake hoses, cups, and seals,” added Calado.

For ease of identification, the two brake fluids each have a unique color. DOT 3 is dyed in straw yellow, while DOT 4 has a clear color.

Both high-performance brake fluids also conform to strict U.S. and Australian standards. DOT 3 fluid has a minimum dry boiling point of 230 degrees Celsius while the minimum wet boiling point is at 140 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, DOT 4's minimum dry boiling point is rated at 260 degrees Celsius while its minimum wet boiling point is at 155 degrees Celsius. This ensures that the brakes can deliver sufficient stopping power despite any condition.

The new Bendix DOT 3 and DOT 4 brake fluids are available in various sizes; including 160ml, 300ml, 900ml, and 1-liter bottles.
