We might see the 2019 Bentley Contintental GT on our roads soon
After making its debut last year, the 2019 Bentley Continental GT has officially made its way to Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Taiwan. Soon the British-marque's flagship grand tourer will also be launched throughout the rest of South East Asia. Shortly there after the country launches, deliveries fo the all-new Continental GT will also commence.
The third-generation Continental GT takes on a evolutionary redesign as it still retains the distinct long hood and short deck design. Up front, Bentley's signature grill is flanked by the twin-headlight design which has been redesigned and now using LED. At the rear, there are new oval shaped exhaust and dual shaped taillights. 21-inch wheels complete the exterior design.
At the heart of the 2019 Continental GT is the all-new 6.0-liter twin turbo, W12 TSI engine that produess 630 PS and 900 Nm of torque. The 8-speed dual-clutch transmission with a new dual-mass flywheel replaces the traditional power converter ensures a smoother power delivery to either the rear wheels or all-four wheels. It goes from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 333 km/h.
Inside, Bentley says the Continental GT uses the finest materials such as natural leather, wood veneer and hand polished chrome fixtures which the customer can spec to his taste. The dashboard can come with either a single a two-tone finish with a large 12.3-inch infotainment system fitted right in the center. Three new audio systems can be spec'd on the third-gen Continental GT: a 650 W system with 10 speakers, a Bang & Olufsen 1,500 W 16 speaker system or a 18-speaker setup with Active Tranducers and eight sound modes.
With the new Continental GT already making its debut in Australia and some countries in South East Asia, it won't be long until Bentley's flagship grand tourer launches in the Philippines as well.
