Bentley Continental 24 Special Edition marks company's return to the Ring

With Bentley once again returning to the hallowing Nurburgring 24 hours in the coming months, the British marque has released a special edition Continental GT to commemorate this event. Dubbed the Continental 24 Special Edition, it takes inspiration from the Monaco Yellow and Black Crystal color scheme found on their Continental GT3 race car; three of which will participate in the Nurbugring 24 Hours.

Those not fancying the yellow-black color scheme can opt for the optional St, James Red over the Black Crystal, or simply a single-color paint job. The new 21-inch wheels have either yellow or red accents, depending on the color scheme chosen.

Completing the dark exterior theme are carbon fiber side mirror caps, blackened body accents and black brakes calipers. To further differentiate the Continental 24 from a regular Supersport, apart from the unique color scheme, there is a sticker on the doors which read “Continental 24”.

Meanwhile, inside the Continental 24, the occupants will be treated to a plethora of carbon fiber bits. Individually numbered tread plates and diamond quilted seats with “Continental 24” lettering further give the Continental 24 a stronger sense of exclusivity.

Powering the special edition Continental GT is still the same 6.0-liter W12 biturbo engine found in the Supersports which produces 700 horsepower and 1,017 Nm of torque. Production of the Continental 24 will be limited to 24 units, and will only be available in Europe.

Given that the next generation Continental GT is right around the corner, expect Bentley to be releasing more limited edition models, such as the Continental 24, as the current Continental bows out.
