Bentley is giving the second-generation Continental GT a special send off as it is set to be replaced by an all-new model. In commemorating the model's run, the Crewe-based luxury brand recently took the covers off the Continental GT Timeless Series.
The limited-run Timeless Series will only be available as a convertible and can come in seven unique hues. These include: Camel, Cool, Dark Sapphire, Glacier, Havana, Light Ice and Onyx. Regardless of color, all examples will come with the shiny upper and lower grills, large 21-inch alloy wheels and 'Timeless Series' badges / door sill plates.
Topping off the exterior upgrades are the puddle lamps which features the brand's logo.
Inside, the cabin gets the same finish as the exterior (depending on the theme chosen). Both leather and wood trim blanket the interior, along with metal trim accents. Unique to the Timeless Series is a special five-layer Liquid Amber veneer that was painstakingly hand-painted.
Meanwhile, standard in-car features for the special edition Continental GT are the: two-tone leather-wrapped steering wheel, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment with a 30 GB hard drive (15 GB for music storage) and built-in satellite navigation. Available as an extra is the Naim audio system which coms with high quality speakers.
Two engines will be available for the Continental GT Timeless Series. Buyers over in the US market will get the grand tourer with the 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12. It generates 575 PS with 700 Nm of torque and has a six-speed automatic gearbox.
Meanwhile, the European version will come with the tuned 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. It cranks out 528 PS along with 680 Nm of torque. Instead of a six-speed, the V8 S model comes with an eight-speed automatic.
The all-new Continental GT is expected to be revealed at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show.
