As we previously reported, Mazda Philippines has today launched the third generation, 2014 Mazda3, the latest in their SkyActiv models to hit the market.

Mazda Philippines, led by Steven Tan of Berjaya Auto Philippines, has been rather secretive about the pricing of their new sport sedan, promising only that the models will be competitive given the amount of features they have equipped the car with.

Well, without further ado, Mazda Philippines is selling 4 variants of the Mazda3 with the 2.0R and 1.5V versions of the sedan as well as 2.0R and 1.5V variants of the hatchback. Below are the prices:


2014 Mazda3 Sedan 2.0R SkyActiv-G 6AT – PhP 1,195,000

2014 Mazda3 Sedan 1.5V SkyActiv-G 6AT – PhP 945,000

2014 Mazda3 Hatch 2.0R SkyActiv-G 6AT – PhP 1,198,000

2014 Mazda3 Hatch 1.5V SkyActiv-G 6AT – PhP 948,000


As previously reported, the Mazda3 comes with either a 110 horsepower 1.5 liter SkyActiv-G engine or a 153 horsepower 2.0 liter SkyActiv-G. A 6-speed SkyActiv automatic transmission is standard for all models.As standard, the Mazda3 gets features such as i-STOP (auto start/stop in traffic) and i-ELOOP (regenerative charging), an advanced Human Machine Interface (HMI) that features Bluetooth, USB and Aux input as standard. It's also navigation ready. The 2.0R also gets a Heads up display.

Also, all local Mazda3 models will come from Japan.
