BMW adds an innovative new concept to come up with its third body variant for the 3 Series lime-up. The Gran Turismo combines a sedan's sportiness with the versatility of a tourer all into a coupe-styled liftback rear portion. The 3 Series Gran Turismo is 200mm longer than the average 3 Series and has a 110 mm longer wheelbase and stands 81mm taller. It also features an active rear spoiler to reduce lift at high speeds.

The 3 Series Gran Turismo offers generous passenger and cargo space alike. Legroom is extended by in the rear seats and offers more headroom despite 59mm higher seating position that creates a lounge-style ambience for passengers. The boot capacity meanwhile has a capacity of 520-liters and has high-opening tail gate for easy access, rear seats can be folded down for additional cargo space.


The 3 Series Gran Turismo line comes in either a 6-cylinder or a 4-cylinder gasoline engine; or from a 2-liter diesel engine all of which sends power to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox as standard while an 8-speed automatic gearbox can be had as an option.
