Last year, BMW introduced a new warranty program that saw their models covered for the next five years or 200,000 (whichever comes first). That put them right at the top of their segment by being the first to offer it in the luxury car market. However, there were those still under the old program, which was only good for two years.
Well, it's good news because BMW has something worth considering for them.
BMW owners who are still covered by the old two-year program, don't worry. You can now avail of their extended warranty program for as long as it fits their requirements. If your car is less than two years old, you may avail of the five-year program for 'a small change'. What BMW will do is add an additional three years (or 100,000 kilometers, depending on which comes first) on your vehicle to put it in line with the new BMWs.
Like all warranties, BMW Philippines will cover major and minor components necessary to the safe and optimum operation of the vehicle and it does not cover normal wear-and-tear items such as brake pads, filters and consumables. 24/7 roadside assistance is also part of the package.
With that, BMW claims that they are the first in the country to offer the longest and most comprehensive warranty package in the premium car segment. For those who want to avail of the warranty extension, owners may visit their BMW dealership of choice for pricing.
