BMW PH achieves 17% sales growth in 2025, confirms X1 PHEV
All-new X1 PHEV confirmed by BMW PH after achieving record sales in 2025
BMW Philippines distributor SMC Asia Car Distributors Corp. is proud to announce its exceptional performance for the fiscal year 2025.
In a year where the total luxury car market in the Philippines experienced a contraction of 12%, BMW Philippines successfully bucked the trend to record significant double-digit growth. The brand was able to deliver a total of 950 units to customers in 2025, marking a noteworthy 17% increase compared to the 815 units sold in 2024.
This achievement underscores the enduring appeal of the BMW brand and the trust Filipino customers place in its "Sheer Driving Pleasure" despite a challenging economic landscape.

BMW shifted into high gear in the last four months of 2025 by retailing over 100 units per month, a surge that was crucial in securing the year's figures. This momentum was spearheaded by a robust lineup that blends traditional luxury with modern sustainability, with plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) offerings leading the charge.
The top-selling models that drove this success included the BMW X3 30e xDrive M Sport PHEV and the BMW X5 xDrive50e M Sport PHEV, alongside the ever-popular BMW 520i, BMW X1, and BMW 3 Series. This strong demand throughout the year also resulted in the successful sell-out of several key inventory lines. In addition, BMW Philippines has officially concluded sales for the previous generation X3 (G01), as well as the current inventories of the BMW 3 Series and BMW X1, clearing the path for fresh offerings.

With that, BMW is capitalizing on this momentum, as it's set to introduce a series of new models throughout the year. The brand will start with the highly anticipated arrival of the BMW X1 PHEV this coming February. This coincides with our previous report wherein BMW received regulatory approval for a new passenger vehicle with a 1499cc gasoline engine.
Looking ahead, BMW Philippines remains committed to serving its clientele with world-class standards. To support its growing customer base, the company is investing heavily in infrastructure and customer experience. Plans are currently underway to open a new showroom and new service facilities to expand reach and accessibility. Furthermore, a comprehensive renovation program for existing facilities is set to commence, ensuring that every touchpoint, from sales to aftersales, reflects the modern luxury and comfort associated with the BMW name.
