Jomar Ang, the Chief Financial Officer of BMW dealership group RSA Motors Corporation, passed away last April 11, 2020. He was 26.

He was the son of San Miguel Corporation president and CEO, Ramon Ang. San Miguel acquired the majority stake in BMW Philippines, and reorganized it as SMC Asia Car Distributors Corporation (SMCACDC).

Jomar Ang was assigned to different positions under SMCACDC before assuming his role as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of RSA Motors, the BMW automobile and BMW Motorrad dealership company under SMACDC.

RSA Motors was set to open its flagship showroom in Greenhills in May, but the COVID-19 Enhanced Community Quarantine in Luzon has likely delayed plans for this.

“It has been a painful experience, but we have been comforted by the expressions of love and sympathy sent to us in so many ways. We appreciate all the kind thoughts and prayers. Thank you for being with us during this difficult time,” Ramon Ang said in a statement.

“Jomar was a dutiful, loving, and kind-hearted son, brother, and a loyal and dedicated friend to many. He was a source of great joy to us and we are truly blessed to have had his love and presence in our lives. We know in our hearts that he is in a much better place now,” the statement said.

The Ang family held a private service for him on April 12, Easter Sunday.

We send our sincere condolences and prayers to the Ang and BMW Philippines family.
