As the year 2021 begins, having RFID tags installed on vehicles has become a must. While lines at installation sites have become shorter, it’s still a bit of a hassle to queue early just to get them. BMW Philippines does have a solution, and that’s by way of a schedule-based AutoSweep RFID installation right in their dealerships.

In cooperation with SMC Tollways Corporation, select BMW dealerships are allotting limited, scheduled slots for AutoSweep RFID installation. The slots are open for all automobile and motorcycle (400cc displacement and above) brands until January 31, 2021.

For those who are interested, they will just have to go to the AutoSweep website. After filling out the online application form, they can set an appointment in any of the following dealerships: RSA Motors Alabang, RSA Motors Libis, or Autoallee BMW. This system ensures availability and quick processing without any of the hassle of getting stuck in line. Once the schedule has been confirmed, applicants can simply drive to their BMW dealership of choice from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

In compliance with the Department of Transportation’s contactless and cashless transactions directive, San Miguel Corporation has been implementing this system of toll collection since November 2, 2020. AutoSweep RFIDs allow passage through the following tollways: South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), Southern Tagalog Arterial Road (STAR) Tollway, Skyway, NAIA Expressway (NAIAX), and the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX).

Through this effort, BMW Philippines is doing its part to help owners of all sorts of brands and vehicles prepare for the new motoring normal.
