Asian Carmakers Corporation (ACC), the official importer and distributor of BMW cars in the country recently announced the limited release of the 220i Sport Coupe and the M235i marking the company's entry onto the local premium compact segment.

The 220i Sport Coupe

The BMW 220i Sport Coupé's front end features a stylish front bumper design flanked by HID headlights that flow sharply towards the signature BMW kidney grille and forward-slanting kidney slats. The highly-contoured lines along the sides and signature BMW Sport Line high-gloss black trim elements at the rear complete the athletic personality of the compact

It has a driver-oriented cockpit that puts everything in full view and within reach. Moreover, the BMW 220i Sport Coupé allows for ample headroom, legroom, and boot capacity, making it stand out among the others in its class. Foldable rear seat backrests also enable a 40:20:40 split to complement the high-quality interior detailing with functionality.

Under the hood, it is powered by a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo gas engine that generates 184 PS and 270 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to BMW's 8-speed sport automatic gearbox, can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 7 seconds and reach a top speed of 235 km/h.

The BMW M235i

The M235i

Over to the M Performance automobile, it has a front apron that was designed to be more aerodynamic along with remolded front and rear bumpers, large air intakes adapted from M designs, wheel arch embellishers, and side sills in body color highlight the car’s powerful aesthetics.

Aboard the cabin, electronically adjustable sports seats with lumbar support in exclusive Leather Dakota upholstery come as standard to maximize comfort and dynamic driving.

Powering the BMW M235i is a 3.0-liter in-line 6 M Performance Engine that puts out 326 PS along with a torque pull of 426 Nm. Also coupled with the brand's 8-speed steptronic sport transmission, the M235i can go from 0 to 100 km/h time in less than 5 seconds.

ACC has yet to reveal the price of the BMW 220i and the M235i.
