Raising awareness with limited edition tire valves
Bridgestone Philippines takes part in promoting Breast Cancer Awareness this month along with the ongoing "Together, We Save Lives" campaign.
“While we wish to champion the importance of tire knowledge and maintenance to road safety in the Philippines, we also recognize that there are other issues which affect the people whose very lives we are trying to safeguard—one of them being breast cancer,” said Leslie Tagle-Dinglasa, Bridgestone Philippines Vice President for Marketing.
The campaign's aim is to encourage more women to do a self-examination and have regular checkups when it comes to breast health. “Early detection is indeed your best protection,” as the ICanServe promotes this year. Bridgestone says that this is similar as how the brand believes in the power of the hands when it comes to driving and safety.
“The hands play an important role in detection. This is is how our brand and the campaign on breast cancer awareness are on the same page,” said Ruby Gan, Bridgestone Marketing Manager.
To further raise awareness and help those in need, Bridgestone Philippines will be selling a limited number of special valve caps colored in pink. The limited edition pink valve caps will be available for only P100 until supplies last at participating Bridgestone dealers. All proceeds from the sale will benefit ICANServe Foundation, Inc.
Participating Dealers include the following: Bridgestone Bulacan, Tarlac, Laguna, Sta. Rosa, Manila, Pasig, Alabang, Makati, Iloilo, Bacolod, Cebu, Koronadal, and General Santos.
