Bugatti recently showcased its six Veyron Legend Edition cars at the 2014 The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering, and at the 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
"The Legends edition is a great success. The edition shows that history can be authentically clothed in contemporary design. In addition, we have the technical excellence and luxurious comfort of a modern Bugatti. The Bugatti Legends have already proven to be highly-valued collectors’ items," said Wolfgang Dürheimer, President of Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S.
The first Legend Edition of the car was the "Jean-Pierre Wimille" that inaugurated the series exactly one year ago. Following after that was the "Jean Bugatti" that made its debut at the 2013 International Automobile Exhibition in Frankfurt while the "Meo Costatnini" was unveiled at the Dubai Motorshow in that same year. In 2014, Bugatti released the "Rembrandt Bugatti" at the Automobile Salon in Geneva and the "Black Bess" at Auto China in Beijing. Wrapping up the Legend Edition cars will be the "Ettore Bugatti" that made its public appearance at Pebble Beach.
According to the French automaker, all of the 18 cars have been sold and have a combined net worth of nearly EUR 13.2 million (around PHP 770.8 million).
