Cadillac revealed the 2015 CTS with enhancements that the automaker says build on the package of “engaging performance, elevated luxury and sophisticated technology.”
The exterior of the 2015 CTS is designed with a wreathless crest as seen on recent Cadillac products with a character line that runs from the headlamps to the taillamps. It also has prejector-beam halogen headlamps as standard. The headlamp housings are incorporated with crystalline LED light in the upper and lower forward corners while high-intensity discharge headlamps with Adaptive Forward Lighting System are available as an option.
At the rear, the 2015 CTS has bezel elements within the taillamp housing and features a center high-mounted stop lamp at the edge of the trunk lid. It sits on a 17-inch wheels as standard, with the 18 and 19-inch as an option.
Additional exterior features includes illuminating door handles with Galvano polished aluminum finish; active aero grille shutters; and Galvano aluminum trim around the side windows.
Inside, the interior cabin has asymmetrical features that is infused with authentic materials. Cadillac says eight distictive interior environments including six two-tone combinations are available. The center console of the 2015 CTS features a high-resolution eight-inch touchscreen. Moreover, it has a 5.7-inch driver information center display as standard. The 2015 CTS also offers full-leather adjustable front seats that uncludes 14 power-assisted adjustments.
The 2015 CTS is powered either by a four-cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that delivers 276 PS with 400 Nm of torque and a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 325 PS with 373 Nm of torque. A performance tuned version of the 3.6-liter V6 engine powers the RWD-only CTS Vsport that generates 426 PS with 583 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 97 km/h in 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 277 km/h.
