Cadillac will produce a special edition 2015 CTS-V Coupe, as it bids farewell to the current model before the next generation of the V-Series debuts next year.
The special edition 2015 CTS-V Coupe will be limited to 500 units and will be available during the second half of 2014.
The automaker says the CTS-V Coupe is the “most dramatic model in the V-Series range of high-performance luxury models, blending a personal 2+2 layout with a drivetrain vetted on Germany's famed Nürburgring track.”
The exterior of the 2015 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe has a dark-finish V grill and is equipped with satin-graphite-colored wheels and red brake callipers.
Inside, the 2015 special edition has an Ebony interior with red contrast stitching, infused with Recaro performance seats, metal pads, Midnight Sapele wood trim and a microfiber, suede-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.
The special edition CTS-V Coupe includes Cadillac’s Magnetic Ride Control, Brembo brakes and a supercharged, 6.2-liter V8 engine that can deliver 564 PS. It is mated to a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.
It has the following exterior color options: Crystal White, Phantom Gray and optional Black Diamond. The automaker says a sunroof is also available.
Cadillac says the full pricing information for the 500 special edition CTS-V Coupes will be released closer to production.
