Modellista gives all-new Toyota Land Cruiser a sleek yet subtle makeover

The all-new Toyota Land Cruiser may have just been launched last month, but it looks like an aftermarket company has already made a dress-up kit for the flagship SUV. Sure, the Land Cruiser 300 already looks sleek as it is, but Modellista thinks they can make the already stylish SUV look even more appealing.

Let’s start with the most obvious of changes first, the bumpers. Gone are the stock units as they have been replaced with a sportier set. The front looks busier than before and now comes with aggressive foglight bezels. Moreover, the lower air intake is now bigger and comes with a blacked-out finish.

Around the back, there’s a new diffuser and what appears to be a faux skid plate which further adds to the SUV’s more aggressive looks. But perhaps serving as the most noticeable makeover on the Land Cruiser are the huge 21-inch alloy wheels. They’re available in either gloss black or matte black finish.

There are no enhancements under the hood of the Modellista Land Cruiser. This means that it’s still powered by either a 3.3-liter turbo-diesel V6 or a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6. Both engines are connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The former makes 309 PS with 700 Nm of torque, while the latter generates 415 PS and 650 Nm of torque.

Thinking of getting one for your Land Cruiser 300? Modellista has yet to reveal the official prices of the styling upgrades. However, you can expect to pay a pretty penny should you get yourself the Modellista kit for Toyota’s flagship SUV.
