Chery doesn't want its customers waiting for months for spare parts to arrive

Picture this, your car broke down and you have to bring it to the nearest service center in order to get it fixed. Only trouble is, they can't repair it right away because they don't have the necessary parts available. That means your car will be stuck in the shop for quite some time.

Chery Auto Philippines wants that problem to be non-existent for its customers after it recently upgraded its aftersales program. They did this by stockpiling spare parts for all Tiggo models. With it, customers will no longer have to wait weeks or months waiting for their car to be repaired.

“Even the longest warranties are useless if the customer has to wait for weeks or even months to wait for replacement parts. That is why we have decided to invest in an inventory of spare parts that is far beyond the normal expected of any car company,” said Rommel Sytin, president of Chery Auto Philippines.

The spare parts inventory will not only include preventive maintenance parts like the spark plugs, filters, lubricants, and brake pads. Also part of the stockpiling program is collision replacement parts like bumpers, grilles, headlights, and taillights. There is even an inventory of internal engine parts like valves, pistons, and crankshafts.

“We can practically build a whole car from scratch with our inventory, so if you have had experiences of having to wait long for parts with other brands before, we try to make sure that you don't repeat that experience with Chery,” added Sytin.

Combined with the company's EC Mobile Service Program, Chery claims that they will be able to provide quality service to their customers while they're at home. First launched back in July, the new service program was designed to give owners round-the-clock peace of mind on the road, wherever they go.

Currently, the EC Mobile Service Program covers Metro Manila, Metro Cebu, Metro Davao, and the major cities of Batangas, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Bataan, Bicol, Olongapo, Pampanga, Pangasinan, Tarlac, Benguet, Cagayan De Oro, Bacolod, Iloilo, Cabanatuan, La Union, Bukidnon, Butuan City, General Santos City, and Zamboanga City.

Need help while out on the road? Chery also has the 24/7 Roadside Assistance which comes with the following services: Emergency Towing Assistance, minor roadside/onsite repairs such as flat tire, battery boosting, emergency fuel delivery (except fuel cost), and arrangement of alternative transportation.
