As a way of reaching out to clients nationwide
Chery Motors Philippines, Inc. (CMPI), the exclusive distributor of Chery vehicles in the country, conducted a service caravan as its way of reaching out to their existing clients nationwide. This is all part of their plan to revitalize the brand and corporate image amidst the hardships all China-brand vehicles is experiencing in the country currently.
The CMPI Service Caravan started last May 9 in Davao City and travelled all the way to Cagayan De Oro City to cover CMPI’s service campaign for the island of Mindanao. Meanwhile, the service caravan also visited the newly-opened Chery Las Pinas last May 13 to help promote the brand in the area.
“The service caravan implement by the Chery Distributor in Manila is an excellent move since most of the time, Chery owners experience great relief if they had a chance to meet the people of the (Chery) Distributor, not just the dealer who sells them cars” says Mr. Junior Chiu of Chery Cagayan de Oro City.
“We also had been visited by the After Sales Representative of Chery International which gives us further confidence” added Mr. Edward Bangayan, Chery Davao dealer principal.
Last May 20 and 21, the caravan covered the northern part of the Philippines by visiting Chery Tarlac and their authorized service center in Baguio.
Simultaneously, Chery’s flagship dealership in C5, which is set to start its operations soon, was also graced by the service caravan and launched a program dubbed as the ‘Be our Chery VIP’ that will be running until the 31st of May 2013.
“The service caravan program is the follow up of the real comeback of Chery in the Philippines” explained Mr. Porong Herrera, Chief Executive Officer of CMPI, “We chose to satisfy the existing client first before looking for another clients, their satisfaction is our main objective” he added.
The CMPI service campaign is set to continue on May 29 and 30 in Zamboanga City, as well as in Cebu sometime in June.
