The Trailblzer EXT, is a mid-size sports utility vehicle (SUV) and leader in its segment in the US, completes the top caliber SUV lineup of GMPh, which currently includes the Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe.
The Trailblazer features Chevy's award winning Vortec 4200 inline-6 engine capable of delivering [email protected],000rpm and 275lb-ft. of torque @3,600rpm. The seven-seater SUV boasts of a refined ride and handling, ample cargo and passenger space. With 663-liters of cargo space behind the 3rd row seats, while folding the second and third row seats can be folded flat to provide more storage at 3,030-liters.
Other comforts that come with the Trailblazer include a premium six-speaker Bose audio system, and a voice recorder which allows for recording voice reminders for people who live a hectic lifestyle. The Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT also proudly carries a 5-star National Highway Safety Administration rating, the highest in safety.
The Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT carries a pricetag of Php1,995,000.
The Optra 1.8L on the other hand is a welcome addition to its Optra line-up which has consistently been in the No. 3 position in the compact car category vehicle sales since its launch last year. "We are expecting the Chevrolet Optra 1.8L would equal if not surpass the success of its predecessor and continue to boost the sales of GMPh," says Lim.
The Optra 1.8L also gets leather seats and wood-grain panels aside from the more powerful engine. In addition, a Blaupunkt audio system with 5-CD in-dash changer and 6 speakers provide entertainment. With all of these, the Optra 1.8LT A/T retails for Php799,000.
According to Bill Botwick, executive director of ASEAN operations of GM Asia Pacific and concurrent president of GM Thailand, who visited Manila recently, the introduction of new Chevrolet products in the Philippines as well as local dealer network expansion efforts support the regional thrust of General Motors to gain leadership in the Asia Pacific region.
