To give customers a worry free ownership experience, Chevrolet, under the distributorship of the Covenant Car Company, Inc., has introduced a new, longer warranty program.

From April 1, 2011, all Chevrolet purchases will be covered by a new 5-year warranty program, extending the former standard of 3 years. Within a 5 year or 100,000 kilometer (whichever comes first) coverage period, Chevrolet is committed to fix or replace defective parts that have failed in the car.

"Warranties normally cover just the first 2-3 years of a vehicle's life. Now, Chevrolet Philippines is willing to go the extra mile to provide our customers with an experience of sustainable mobility and low cost of ownership through five years of assured quality and peace of mind," says Atty. Albert Arcilla, TCCCI's Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer.

With the introduction of the new warranty program, Chevrolet joins the likes of Hyundai and Kia, both of which, lately, have enjoyed considerable growth with the extended 5-year warranties as a value-added service.
