June 24, 2015 is the official launch date given by Chevrolet for the 2016 Cruze. While the company is tight lipped regarding the details of the all new compact sedan, Chevrolet has released an interior teaser photo highlighting the new technologies that will be available for the Cruze.
In the teaser photo Chevrolet released, it partially shows the multifunction steering wheel and also shows the leather stitching in the lower half of the dashboard. Also seen in the teaser is a push-to-start button. The main focus in the shot is Chevrolet's MyLink infotainment system. It comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility and displays smartphone features and apps onto the screen. This allows drivers to access their messages, maps, music and more.
Chevrolet has also shown a video about the features of MyLink when paired to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The video shows MyLink's voice command functions, navigation and music management, as well as access to the Google Play Store. Users can also reply to messages with the voice command to eliminate the need to use the phone while driving.
