Chevrolet Thailand has just started production of the new Captiva. The model is one of the most successful SUVs in Thailand after having sold more than 35,000 units since its introduction.

The automaker intends to maintain its current success with the new 2014 Captiva as it features updated styling, improved driving dynamics and performance.

The exterior of the 2014 Chevrolet Captiva has a redesigned front bumper with more fog-light covers. On the sides, it is integrated with stainless steel side steps that allow passengers to get in and out of the vehicle easily.

The rear of the Captiva has a redesigned bumper with chrome exhaust and new taillight clusters. Rounding up the exterior design of the 2014 Captiva is the standard 18-inch alloy wheels for the ‘LT’ variant.

Inside, the 2014 Captiva has a new upholstery pattern and the steering wheel-mounted cruise and audio controls are now illuminated.

It has a dual zone climate control that allows the driver and front passenger to operate separate temperature settings.

The 2014 Captiva also features a Passive Entry Start that allows the driver to unlock the doors and start the engine by being in-range of the vehicle’s sensors without having the key in the driver’s hands.

The new Captiva is now in production in Thailand and it is priced between THB 1.2 million (PhP 1.7 million) to THB 1.7 million (PhP 2.3 million).
