The Japanese automaker recently announced that they will be debuting the refreshed 2016 Avalon along with limited-run US models of the 2015 Corolla and Camry at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show next week.
While official specifications of the updated Toyota Avalon are yet to be revealed, the company did provide a teaser image of the premium mid-size sedan's front fascia. It still bears the brand's current design language, but gets a wider grill, a tweaked bumper, revised LED DRLs and vertical foglamps.
Limited 'sporty editions' of Corolla and Camry
Toyota Corolla Special Edition
Described by the company to add more sportiness and driving excitement, the Corolla Special Edition gets a variety of standard features which include: three new exclusive colors, 17-inch gloss black wheels, black interior with red contrast stitching, red accented dasboard and door trim, Special Edition floor mats and a Smart Key System with pushbutton start.
Available as options for the Special Edtion are the EntuneTM Premium Audio with Navigation and AppSuite and a power tilt/slide moonroof.
The Corolla Special Edition will be limited to 8,000 units and will be produced between August and December 2015.
Toyota Camry Special Edition
America's best-selling car also gets a sporty treatment as Toyota decided to thrown in some unique features to the Camry like: two new exclusive colors, 18-inch wheels with gloss black accents, smoked taillights, sport-looking seats upholstered in black and blue, sport gauges, Entune Premium Audio with Navigation and AppSuite, Smart Key with pushbutton Start and a Qi wireless charging system.
It will be limited to 12,000 units and will be made between August 2015 to January 2016.
