Subaru has just released teaser photos of the upcoming BRZ STI through the website of its performance arm STI (Subaru Tecnica International). The Subaru BRZ made its global debut at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show, while the STI concept was first revealed at the LA Auto Show the same year.
The teaser photos show an STI badge on the front bumper and an aluminum STI fender garnish. Not much details have been revealed except for the words ‘Purity of Handling’ that comes with an aerial shot of a winding mountain pass and ‘Coming Soon’. It is still pretty unclear if they will release a turbocharged version of the 2.0-liter engine or just add some performance and suspension upgrades.
Since the teaser only appears on the Japanese version of the STI website, we assume that it will make its global debut at this year’s Tokyo Motor Show.
