If there's one pick-up truck the market is patiently waiting for, it's the all-new Ford Ranger.
We've already seen the truck through various spy shots covered in heavy camouflage. Still, the big question remained: when will the all-new model debut?
Thankfully that has been answered and confirmed by Ford.
Ford announced that the next-generation Ranger will be revealed later this year and launched in various markets in 2022. Best of all, the automaker also released the first official photos together with a video along with the announcement.
It's not surprising that the Ranger in the photos is still camouflaged. Ford wouldn't want to reveal everything before the launch just yet but it is enough to give us a better look at the next-generation pick-up truck. By the looks of it, the 2022 Ranger will adopt a similar front end to that of the F-150.
The most prominent detail would be the C-shaped LED DRLs surrounding the headlights. There's a massive back panel at the center, which hints that this model will have a rather large grille. The new Ranger looks bigger too when compared to the outgoing model and the video shows that the next-generation pick-up truck will still be a very capable off-roader.
Ford Philippines has yet to say when specifically the new Ranger will be launched. But the teaser photos and video are already enough to get us excited.
