It's not only the all-new Porsche 911 that made its way to this year's Bangkok International Motor Show. Also making its ASEAN debut is the 2019 Audi TT. Recently receiving a refresh, the two-door sports car gets a mild exterior makeover, along with updated powertrain and technologies.
Audi gave the TT a subtle facelift. It now comes with blacked-out single-frame front grill with a new honeycomb design, along with revised air intakes on the front bumper. The headlights, on the other hand, have been given a mild redesign as well to reflect the car's more aggressive looks.
Much like the front, the rear of the TT also gets several changes like a new set of LED taillights, a rear spoiler, refreshed rear bumper with dual exhaust pipes, as well as an integrated rear diffuser.
Inside, not much has changed inside the two-door. This means it still comes with a flat-bottomed steering wheel, 12.3-inch virtual cockpit display, splashes of aluminum and metal accents, MMI navigation with infotainment controls, leather upholstery, as well as the minimalist-looking dasboard and automatic climate control.
Powering the 2019 TT is a wide array of turbocharged TFSI engines. Depending on the variant, the TT can come with 197 PS, 245 PS, and 306 PS in the top-of-the-range TT S. Power can then be sent to either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed S-Tronic dual-clutch gearbox. The TT S is only available with S-Tronic.
