Back on June 1, The Yuchengco Group of Companies (YGC) had decided to close down five auto dealerships under their wing. These dealerships were Honda Cars Marikina, Honda Cars Marcos Highway, Honda Cars Kalookan, Honda Cars Fairview, and Isuzu Greenhills.

According to YGC, this difficult decision was made to ensure “overall greater efficiency” in its automotive business. Now, Isuzu had made a statement regarding the closure of their Greenhills dealership.

For those who purchased vehicles from Isuzu Greenhills, the company is reassuring their customers that parts and service will not be a worry. These clients may still go to any Isuzu dealership or service center for their vehicle's needs. Should they have any other inquiries, customers may send an email to [email protected] For off-site servicing, IPC also offers Mobile Medic services available nationwide.

In addition, Isuzu is saying that their remaining 44 dealerships nationwide have not been affected by the closure of the Greenhills branch. They even said that there will be more dealerships opening soon in various parts of the country.

Isuzu Greenhills was established in 2009 as part of YGC's automotive arm. Up until its sudden closure, it has been serving Isuzu customers around that area for over a decade. YGC will be implementing a redundancy program for its affected workers, not just for Isuzu Greenhills' employees, but also for the four other Honda dealership personnel.
