Sixty concept introduced as Devel's six-wheeled SUV off-roader
During the 2017 Dubai International Motor Show, Devel revealed a crazy 6x6 concept called the Sixty together with its concept hypercar concept (Sixteen). The Sixty is monstrous off-road prototype complete which has completely been blackened out, massive off-road tires and an aggressive looking front fascia.
Going over the Sixty's design, it looks more like an armored vehicle transporter more than an SUV. The prototype SUV is also remiscent of another six-wheeled SUV, the Mercedes-AMG G63 6x6 as both of which have a menacing look and purpose built off-road stance. Apart from its design, very little details have been revealed about the Devel Sixty. Head to Devel's website and it only shows a 'coming soon' tag written over a render of the 6x6 concept.
Powering the Sixty is said to be a 700 PS 6.7-liter turbo diesel V8 with power capable of being sent to all six wheels. It has a claimed 0-97km/h time of 5 seconds and has a limited top speed of 150 km/h. Portal axles, independent suspension and a central tire inflation system also comes standard. Despite its appearance, Devel claims that the Sixty is street legal.
As with Devel's other concept vehicle, the Sixteen hypercar, don't expect a production model of the Sixty to be released anytime soon. That's if the concept actually makes it into production.
