By the middle of this year, you’ll have to drive up to Pampanga if you have any business with the Department of Transportation (DOTr).

The agency has announced that its main office located in Ortigas Avenue, Mandaluyong City shall be moved to Clark Green City in Pampanga in July 2017.

This move is the DOTr’s way of doing its part in reducing the traffic congestion in Metro Manila.

“We will start moving this July with offices finished or unfinished,” said DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade.

Vince Dizon, president of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), has offered the 9,450-hectare Clark Green City located within the Clark Special Economic Zone (CSEZ) as the new site for offices of various government agencies in order to decongest Metro Manila.
