Roadwork will still be conducted along the southbound portions of EDSA Guadalupe and Buendia during the weekend after the Department of Public Works and Highway (DPWH) announced that the roads will undergo concrete reblocking and asphalt overlaying.

From October 30 (Friday) until November 2 (Monday), a portion of Estrella street to Buendia Avenue will be closed to traffic flow. Reblocking will be take place on Friday from 11:00PM until 5:00AM Saturday. It will then be followed by epoxy injection and asphalt sealing at 11:00PM Saturday up to 5:00AM Sunday.

Final asphalt overlaying will be conducted at 11:00PM on Sunday until 5:00AM the next day.

Sectional asphalt overlaying activities will also be done by DPWH South Manila District Engineering Office from October 29 to November 1 along EDSA Pasay City from Taft Avenue to Pasay/Makati Boundary near EDSA/Tramo Flyover.

The DPWH has already asked for assistance with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and the PNP-Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG) for traffic management during the weekend roadwork.
