DPWH to conduct weekend road reblocking
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), through the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), has announced that they will be conducting road reblockings starting tonight at 11 PM, September 29, and will last until 5 AM on Monday, October 2.
The following roads will be affected by the weekend road reblocking schedule:
- C-5 ROAD (NB) Lane 2, Pasig City
- C-5 to Korean Embassy (SB) 3rd lane, Makati City
- C-3 ROAD (EB), Between C. Cordero to Rizal Ave. (4th lane from sidewalk), Caloocan City
- C-3 ROAD (EB), Between Rizal Ave. to M. H Del Pilar St. (3rd lane from sidewalk), Caloocan City
- EDSA (NB), Between Don Vicente Ang to Gen. Evangelista (2nd lane from sidewalk), Caloocan City
- EDSA Taft Avenue (NB) to MRT Station (4th lane), Pasay City
- EDSA Annapolis (NB) to Connecticut (Outer lane), San Juan City
- Taft Avenue and corner Pedro Gil St. (3rd lanes for NB and SB), Manila City
- EDSA (SB) after Malibay Bridge (Outer lane), Pasay City
- Mindanao Ave. (SB), after U-Turn to after Mindanao Ave. Tunnel, (1st and 3rd lane from center and service road, Outer Lane), Quezon City
- A. Bonifacio Ave. (NB), corner Sgt. Rivera Street (1st lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
- Commonwealth Ave. (NB), B. Soliven Street to Doña Carmen (1st lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
- Commonwealth Ave. (NB), Kristong Hari to B. Soliven Street (6th lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
- C-5 Road (SB), After Magsaysay Ave. near U- Turn Slot, Quezon City
- C-5 Road (SB), after Magsaysay Ave., Quezon City
- C-5 Road (SB), after C-5 and Ayala Heights Intersection, Quezon City
- Commonwealth Ave. (SB), From Shell Gas Station to Zuzuaregue Street (2nd lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
- Rizal Ave. Exit (NB), between 11th Ave. and Bustamante St. (2nd lane), Caloocan City
- C-5 Road, E. Mejia Street near C-5 Service Road along C-5 Service Road near a E. Mejia Street, along C-5 Road near Casa Verde, Pasig City
- Mc Arthur Highway (NB), Malabon City
The affected roads will be fully passable by 5 AM on Monday, October 2. Motorists are advised to take alternate routes.
