The folks behind Tire Boy step up with a brand new facility, Drive+
If you’re the average gearhead living in Metro Manila, chances are you know your way around the Banawe area. With its long strip filled with all the parts and accessories you may or may not need, Banawe has since been synonymous with having your car repaired or maintained. Not all shops are created equal however, and some have made a reputation out of providing good service for any vehicle that comes in – one of which being the Tire Boy center at the corner of Maria Clara and Sto. Domingo.
Recently however you may have seen their shop closed and abandoned despite having had good business since they opened in 2000. Contrary to the usual reason for closing shop however, the folks behind Tire Boy were actually gearing up for something much bigger: a sprawling 3,000 sqm. shop situated along the strip of Quezon Avenue.
Now geared towards complete servicing and full-scale vehicle maintenance, their new shop, now branded ‘Drive+’, offers premium servicing with a spacious work floor to help keep workflow as smooth as possible. Seeing as motorists are getting more discerning with their vehicles by the day, the spacious shop floor avoids having to sandwich clients’ vehicles while being worked on – all while their TESDA-certified staff is performing necessary fixes to their vehicles.
The shop floor itself features several lifts for quick services like oil changes, brake pad replacement, or minor suspension work. On the opposite end, a pair of lifters can be utilized for more complex tasks. Behind the quick lifts, a trio of Hunter alignment rigs will ensure that all the work performed can translate to proper steering feel behind the wheel.
Upon entering the main entrance, the bright, high-ceiling lobby immediately presents a very premium ambience where clients can wait for their vehicles to be serviced. Various products are also displayed on the far end of the first floor should your vehicle need anything specific.
Considering their roots, Drive+ have created a Rim Gallery showcasing the variety of wheels they have available – perhaps a room to avoid if you don’t feel like shelling out for a new set.
“At Drive+ Car Care Center, we are committed to deliver more value to our customers in a manner that we have mastered through our decades of experience with Tire Boy.” said Jason Manabat, Drive+’s Brand Manager. “We operate with an impeccable work ethic and a professional management team, all focused in making sure we are highly productive and efficient in serving our ever growing clientele.”
