For an exclusive two nights only, happening on September 19 to 20 at the A Venue Events Hall on Makati Avenue, you may have your fill of the best tattoos and the finest lowriders in town. Despite the gangsta insignia, tattooing and lowriding is now becoming a pop culture phenomenon. Considered as two of the emerging, unique art forms today, this event celebrates artistry and creativity, on skin and on wheels.
Featuring the finest and most intricate tattoos, sought after local inkers, best low riders and top automotive custom workers, this is where respected tattoo artists, custom car makers, enthusiasts and supporters gather to compete, acknowledge artistry, and marvel in the blending of a culture and lifestyle all its own. The event will also showcase the latest trends and techniques in the tattoo industry, as well as the cleanest rides, immaculate trunks and booming sound systems.
Witness actual tattooing and maybe get inked yourself, by artists from the country's only recognized tattoo organization led by President and top tattoo artist Ricky Sta. Ana. And while you do, get some tips on snatching the best ride, West Coast style, with Joker, one of the premier low rider creators in the land.
The event highlights consist of a competition of creativity and innovation among our best local artists in both mediums. Tattoo artists and custom car makers from all over the country are set to battle it out in their own categories, as they exhibit ingenuity and artistry in their own set of canvass. Awards will be given out at the end of each night for those works that will merit the spotlight.
The exhibition will also feature booths where one may witness inkers at work, custom car demos, or get information on anything and everything about tattoo and low riders. Vendors will be selling their wears where you may choose whatever your heart desires.
Completing this celebration of urban pop culture are live performances from a roster of equally notorious bands in the country today. Sandwich, Valley of Chrome, Pedicab, Cosmic Love, and more are set to share their own take on the arts of local sounds and music.
Scores of true street art supporters are coming out for the celebration. Be there and witness urban culture at its best!
Bear your mark… low and slow.
