Audi has a bunch of electrified models in the works, and they are scheduled to make their global debuts in the next few years.

One of the most anticipated models from the German marque is the stylish e-tron GT. Never heard or don’t recall this EV before? Well, you may remember seeing the concept version (with fake engine noise) on the big screen being driven by Tony Stark in Avengers: Endgame.

Hopefully we will soon be able to see the final production model in metal once the electric tourer makes it world debut. For the time being though, we have this short spy video to go on. Like our older spy shots of test mules, the e-tron GT is still fully camouflaged while undergoing extreme weather testing in the snow.

Despite the camo, you can see that the e-tron GT prototype here looks very much like the concept revealed back in 2018. The most obvious change would be the mirrors which are functional together with standard door handles. The front end does appear to be less aggressive compared to the concept featuring fewer bumper vents, though it is possible that the vents are hidden behind the camouflage wrap. Meanwhile, the rear looks nearly identical to the concept with all the camo in place.

Though it might look like a proper grand tourer with a big engine under the hood, the e-tron GT is all-electric. Audi has not officially revealed how much power the production will have. In fact, the automaker has not even revealed any powertrain details. But, for reference, Audi claims that the concept has 590 PS on tap from its two electric motors. They also envisioned a 90kWh lithium-ion battery which would have given it a range of 400 km based on the WLPT standard. Expect the production model to have similar figures.

There’s no official word yet as to when the production model e-tron GT. But from the looks of the prototype we saw here, they seem to be very ready for production.
