Facelifted 2021 Toyota Yaris now in PH, starts at PhP 973K
Toyota Motor Philippines introduces 2021 Yaris before year ends

Toyota Motor Philippines has one last surprise for us before the year ends.
The automaker just launched the refreshed 2021 Yaris, featuring styling cues from the facelifted Vios introduced earlier this year. Toyota didn't just copy and paste the front end though from the Yaris to the Vios and called it a day.

The facelifted Yaris features a different grille and a center intake with a mesh design as opposed to the horizontal slats. LED fog lights now come standard across all variants as well. However, only the 1.5 S CVT gets the new LED headlights with LED daytime running lights. New 15-inch wheels and new Cyan Metallic color round up the exterior changes.

Inside, the cabin has mostly been carried over. The most obvious change would be the new infotainment system which now features Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as standard across all variants. The range-topping 1.5 S CVT gets a few luxury touches as well - including synthetic leather seats. Smart entry and a push start system also come standard on the top-of-the-line variant too.

Under the hood, the 2021 Yaris uses the same 1.5-liter and 1.3-liter engine options as the Vios. Unfortunately, no manual option here as the Yaris is only available with a CVT. For a sportier appeal, the 1.5 S does get paddle shifters and even Eco and Sport driving modes.

In terms of safety, the Yaris comes with 7 SRS airbags as standard. Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) helps prevent side skids and assists in stabilizing the car when abruptly turning on a tight curve. Meanwhile, a hill-start assist helps drivers advance uphill from a full stop with ease. Meanwhile, speed-sensing door locks are now standard on the 1.5 S CVT.

The updated Yaris will be available at Toyota showrooms across the country starting January 13, 2021. Customers may check the full specs and product highlights at https://toyota.com.ph/yaris.
Prices for the 2021 Toyota Yaris is as follows:
2021 Toyota Yaris 1.3 E CVT – PHP 973,000
2021 Toyota Yaris 1.5 S CVT – PHP 1,114,000
