Italian automaker Ferrari recently celebrated its 60 year anniversary in North America with a special model: the U.S. exclusive F60America that is limited to only 10 units.
According to Ferrari, the car combines open-top motoring along with the thrill of a V12 engine that North American clients are very passionate about. The F60America is based on the F12 Berlinetta.
Looking at the front, the F60America features the brand's signature single chrome grill that is integrated with air intakes for cooling the brakes. The hood has air scoops near the headlights while the side of the car is dominated by angular lines that run up to rear wheel arch. The rear section brandishes a bumper integrated with a diffuser along with a quad exhaust system. Its taillight design is reminiscent of the Ferrari 599 while the roll hoops are backed by carbon-fiber trimmed flying buttresses that stretch behind the cockpit towards the rear, giving the F60America a sense of movement while standing still.
Additionally, the exterior adopts the brand's North American Racing Team livery along with Ferrari's 60th Anniversary badging that can be found on the wheel-arches and on the tunnel in the cabin. The foldable top is made from light fabric that can be activated up to speeds of 120 km/h.
Inside the cabin, the driver's side is finished in red and composite materials are used for the door trim, tunnel and dashboard. On the other hand, the passenger side is covered in black. Finishing it all off is an American flag motif that decorates the backrest of each seat.
Powering the F60America is a 6.3-liter front mounted V12 engine originally found on the F12 Berlinetta. It produces 740 PS and can catapult the car from 0-100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds.
All 10 units of the Ferrari F60America have already been sold to their respective owners.
