Quite possibly one of the most renowned brands with a long, colorful history in the automotive world would be Italian sports and supercar manufacturer Ferrari. The Maranello based company was originally started in 1939 as Auto Avio Costruzioni by none other than Enzo Ferrari. However, it was not until in March 12 of 1947 that Enzo Ferrari would start the engine of the 125 S, the first car to bear his name.
Seven decades forward from that historical moment, Ferrari is beginning official celebrations for their 70th anniversary. To celebrate, Ferrari dealerships from all over the world will host events to allow customers to enjoy their Italian supercars throughout the year. The headquarters at Maranello however has a more iconic way to celebrate their 70 years.
To commemorate this milestone, Ferrari will build 70 different liveried Ferraris based on their current lineup – the GTC4Lusso, F12berlinetta, 488 GTB, 488 Spider, and the California T. This would make a total of 350 cars. Each livery is inspired by an important vehicle from their 70 year history.
