Ferrari will be bringing the new California T, 458 Speciale, plus the highly-decorated F12berlinetta along with F1 cars of the past and present with members of the Scuderia Ferrari team at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The Ferrari California T now sports an all-new compact turbocharged V8 that according to the marquee still possesses ‘razor-sharp responsiveness, blistering performance, superbly powerful acceleration at all speeds.’ Ferrari tweaked the engine for more output, better sound and reduced emissions and fuel consumption.
The Ferrari 458 Speciale is equipped with active aerodynamic devices on the rear diffuser, as well as mobile aerodynamic devices at the front, making it the first regular production Ferrari to do so. This has resulted in a 3-second 0-100kph sprint and a Fiorano lap of 1’23”5.
After winning ‘International Engine of the Year’ Performance Engine and Above 4-liter class award in 2013 and the 2012 Top Gear award for ‘Supercar of the Year’ and also taking home the Compasso d’Oro, the F12berlinetta, which was launched at the 2013 Festival of Speed, comes back to home to celebrate with Ferrari fans and owners.
Aside from the presence the automotive display, Ferrari will be also send members of the Scuderia Ferrari. Former F1-driver Pedro dela Rosa will give a special demo of the 2009 F60 Formula 1 racecar while Kimi Räikkönen will pilot his F2007 and John Surtees his 1964 158 F1.
