Fifth gen Chevrolet Camaro performance parts released

More ways to make the Camaro V6 and SS run like a ZL1

Good news arrives to those who are eager to boost the performance of their 5th generation Chevrolet Camaros. Last week, Chevrolet Performance released factory-performance parts and accessories for the latest generation of the Chevy pony. These parts aim to turn the Camaro V6 and SS models into more powerful machines on and off the track. Moreover, having these parts installed will not tamper the vehicle’s warranty.

Different packages are offered to match different expectations that the driver may have. As such, there will be parts devoted to boosting the Camaro’s power, while others for improved handling. These are the parts Chevrolet made available to its customers:

Camaro ZL1 components

Camaro 1LE components

Camaro SS components

LS3 heads/LS7 camshaft package (tuning required)

COPO components for drag racing

The current Chevrolet Camaro SS available locally already churns out 432 PS and 576 Nm of torque while the Camaro V6 has 327 PS and 375 Nm of torque under its hood.

If you think your muscle car needs those additional steroids, upgrading to these parts may be a good option.
