Hyundai reveals exterior design of all-new Kona crossover
Hyundai continues to release further details of their all-new crossover that will make its global debut come June 13. To further whet the appetite of the motoring public, the Korean automaker recently released the first pictures of the Kona.
While still somewhat cloaked, we now get to see a clearer look of the Kona's unique design. As seen from earlier reports, the Kona will have a twin headlight design, with the top portion getting LED daytime running lights. Meanwhile, the bottom section will have LED or HID lighting. Also present is the large Cascading Grill that resembles the one used on the all-new i30.
Aside from the front, we also get to see the rear of the Kona which gets a pair of sleek taillights. Wheel lip moldings are also seen in all corners of the Kona, along with five-spoke directional alloy wheels.
Exact in-car features for the Kona have not yet been listed but Hyundai did say it will have the latest in premium amenities and conveniences. One of which will be a heads-up display that can show real-time driving information in both day and night driving.
Engine and transmission options could come from the i30, which could mean the Kona will be available with either gasoline or diesel power. Front-wheel-drive will also likely come as standard.
