Ford Australia has just announced the final edition of the Ford Falcon before the automaker stops local production of the model (along with the Territory) in two years' time.
The Ford Falcon FPV GT F, set to be launched in June, will be the swansong of Ford Australia's signature model. The ‘F’ suffix stands for the “Final” production model of the GT sedan. Ford Australia will only produce 550 units of the said vehicle (500 for Australia, 50 for New Zealand). Each vehicle will be individually numbered.
The design of the Falcon FPV GT F takes its cues to past GT models. The GT F will revive the 351 badge to honor the famous Falcon 351 GT of the 70s. Italso comes with a 19-inch wheels and 275/35 tires.
It will be powered by a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that delivers 476 PS with 570 Nm of torque. This makes the Falcon FPV GT F 21 PS more powerful than the Falcon GT RSPEC that was released in 2012. With this, the GT F is bound to be the most powerful Falcon GT.
