Ford Everest and Ford Ranger win at 2007 Car of the Year Awards
Both Ford Everest and Ford Ranger received the highest marks in their respective categories from more than 30 motoring media of different publications and television networks who comprise the Car Awards Group, Inc. (CAGI), the organization behind the awards. The Ford Everest and Ford Ranger are among the 87 vehicles, that were tested for nine weekends, since August this year at San Lazaro Park's sprawling grounds near Southwoods, Laguna.
According to CAGI, the Ford Everest and Ford Ranger ably addressed the 30 motoring media judges' wildly diverse tastes, requirements and preferences with its features and capabilities. "We are extremely pleased that the Ford Everest and the Ford Ranger were selected as the best in their respective categories at the Car of the Year Awards among an impressive roster of nominees," Vinay Piparsania, Ford Group Philippines VP for Marketing and Sales said.
"We share these recognitions with our many partners, who have lent their support to Ford in the development of both vehicles," Piparsania added.
