Now Ford owners have a new reason to love the blue oval in Ford Solutions. This integrated branding approach provides owners of Ford vehicles with a one-stop-shop of customized and flexible solutions. "We wanted to extend the Ford experience of providing top quality products and services beyond our vehicles. With Ford Solutions, we offer our valued customers a host of programs that will take care of their vehicle needs. This gives them the peace of mind that comes with owning a Ford," said Luie Dy Buncio, Ford's vice-president for sales and marketing.
There are three products under Ford Solutions: 1) the Emergency Roadside Assistance (ERA); 2) the Premium Extended Warranty (EW); and 3) the Ford Solutions Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance.
Roadside assistance 24/7/365
The ERA provides emergency roadside assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to Ford vehicles enrolled in the said program. A 24-hour hotline (848-FORD or 848-3673) manned by customer representatives receive phone calls from customers that may require roadside help at any time. Emergency services such as towing, flat tire change, battery jumpstart, fuel delivery, urgent message relay, information on hospitals and medical facilities, arrangement of alternate transportation and arrangement of medical evacuation are available.
Assistance is provided to customers located anywhere in Luzon and places such as Cebu, Iloilo, Davao, Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro and General Santos City.
ERA comes free with all Ford vehicles purchased and is valid with one year from the day the vehicle was purchased. It is renewable on a yearly basis and is available to all Ford vehicles less than five years old.
EW, that's real good!
The Ford Premium Extended Warranty (EW) is an extension of the vehicle's original Ford factory warranty (two years or 50,000 kilometers, whichever comes first) and covers all mechanical and electrical components of the vehicle, along with comprehensive protection provisions for the vehicle up to five years.
The EW may be availed by all Ford vehicle owners, with vehicles less than 24 months old, traveled less than 50,000 kilometers and were purchased from any authorized Ford dealer.
Ford offers a potpourri of payment schemes for the customer to pay the EW, either via cash, financing through Ford Credit or a three-months-to-pay scheme. Also, the EW covers the repair, replacement or adjustment of all mechanical and electrical components of the vehicle, including labor.
An easier way to insure your Ford
The Ford Solutions Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance is the first-to-market vehicle manufacturer-branded insurance product in partnership with Ford Credit and Federal Phoenix, a leader in non-life insurance with a large portfolio of motor insurance clients. It offers worry-free protection advantage because it guarantees repair in authorized Ford dealerships and use of genuine Ford parts. Vehicles financed through Ford Credit can have the premiums bundled into the financing contract, with the latest motor insurance products and closely integrated insurance and claims processes to boot for improved service.
Standard product coverage includes competitive multi-year coverage (available for a maximum of five years), free Auto Passenger Personal Accident coverage (P20,000 per passenger, with a maximum of five passengers), free Loss of Use Allowance (P500 daily allowance, maximum of 15 days while your Ford vehicle is being repaired) and immediate repair authorization (no need to wait for a letter of authority to start repair).
Another unique free feature of Ford's new comprehensive insurance is its Finance Gap Insurance. The Finance Gap covers the shortfall between the finance outstanding balance and the amount paid by Ford Solutions Insurance in the event of total loss. This provides customers with a sense of confidence and insurance protection unmatched in the market.
