Ford teases the Ranger again with special new livery
Ford wants you to keep your eyes peeled, day or night. After announcing that the all-new Ranger will be revealed this year, the Blue Oval has released another teaser image of the next-generation pick-up truck.
Unlike the previous teaser, which showed the pick-up wearing a black and white camouflage, the all-new Ranger now comes with a unique blue, white, and black body wrap. Designed by Ford Automotive Designer Lee Imrie, the special livery was inspired by the Bronco-R and uses special optics to mask some of the pick-up's visual secrets.
Despite the special wrapping still hiding most of the pick-up truck, Ford did show the Ranger's new taillights and what appears to be a new set of wheels. Other noticeable details include a metal sports bar, side steps, and black body cladding on the wheel arches.
Ford has yet to reveal the Ranger's new front end. But based on previous photos, the pick-up will adopt a similar design to the current F-150. The most prominent detail would be the new C-shaped daytime running lights that surround the headlights.
Ford may not be ready to reveal the new Ranger just yet, but they are confident enough to say that the pick-up is coming real soon.
