Ford Philippines continues to become the country’s fastest growing automotive brand this year by performing well in September and the 3rd quarter.

The company has recorded a 46% growth in its 3rd quarter sales by being able to sell 3,330 units. In September 2013 alone, Ford was able to sell 1,231 units. The boost brought about this period gives Ford its best 3rd quarter so far. More signs of the company’s development in 2013 can be noted with the 70% growth in its year-to-date sales tallying to 9,591 units.

One of the main drivers for this growth is the sales of the Ford Ranger, the brand’s best-seller. In September 2013, there have been 438 Rangers sold in the market contributing to its 1,209-unit count for the 3rd quarter of this year. With that amount, the year-over-year sales of the model surged up to 172%.

Other Ford models have an increasing demand too. Sales of the new Ford Fiesta increased by 54% to 315 units sold in September. 110 units of the Ford Focus boosted its 3rd quarter sales to 310 units and gave a +167% to its year-over-year sales. The Ford Everest accounts to 289 units sold in September with a year-to-date growth of 79% at 2,015 units sold. The Ford Explorer also contributed with 277 units sold, where its year-to-date sales amount to 737 units with a 73% increase. The Ford Mustang has been accounted for 19 units sold, and has increased to 303 units sold since its Philippine launch.
