Ford Philippines announced a 52-percent year-over-year increase in sales after registering 2,671 units last February 2016.
“The Philippines’ healthy economy and positive consumer sentiment are helping drive continuing demand for Ford vehicles, particularly our SUVs and Ranger pickup. With an expanded dealer network, we’ve also been able to make the Ford brand more accessible to customers across the country,” said Lance Mosley, managing director, Ford Philippines.
The company's positive sales performance was led by the all-new Everest which delivered retail sales of 1,234 units. On the other hand, the EcoSport yielded 610 units last month while the Explorer posted 118 units sold, a 19-percent increase from a year ago.
In addition, the Ranger pickup truck delivered sales of 535 units, while the Mustang registered 42 units.
