Ford Philippines has announced that their total retail sales have incresed by 52-percent year-over-year with 1,950 units sold for the month of October.
Ford PH says that their October sales “helped continue [the brand's] impressive run in 2014 with year-to-date sales rising 52-percent to 16,514 units.” Sales across Ford's lineup in the Philippines continues to be strong due to the demand for the Ranger, the EcoSport and the Everest models.
“We’re continuing to build on the success of our One Ford plan, including the further expansion of our Philippines showroom with the recent reveal of the new Explorer Sport and Escape. This will give consumers even more choice and opportunity to connect with the Ford brand,” said Kay Hart, managing director, Ford Philippines.
The October sales for the Ranger has increased by 61-percent year-over-year to 787 units sold. So far, sales of the Ranger have jumped 70-percent to 6,294 units.
The popularity of the EcoSport continued last month as the compact urban SUV contributed sales of 605 units. Ford says since its debut in the Philippines last April, the EcoSport has sold a total of 3,985 units.
On the other hand, the Explorer delivered 80 units while the Everest achieved sales of 297 units last month.
